This is a brief introduction to SteelBase Partners and what we do. SteelBase is run by me, Paul Lowrey. I have over 15 years researching and analysing steel industry data, particularly detailed market data. Publicly available information about steel markets is often incomplete, late and unreliable. We perform detailed qualitative and quantitative research into markets by talking to the people who know the most - the customers. That's not all we do by any means, but it's where we often start.
